Ushers
The First Baptist Church Ushers provide a welcoming experience to all members and visitors and create an atmosphere that will lead the unsaved to Christ. The First Baptist Church Ushers provide a welcoming atmosphere to help assure all congregants have an uplifting, inspirational and spiritual experience. First Baptist Church Ushers are members of the Eastern Baptist Association Ushers Auxiliary.
Nursing Ministry
The Nursing Ministry helps the Pastor before and after he preaches the word of God. They assist the congregation and community by providing basic health care assistance. The Ministry members typically have experience or interest in health care, are passionate about serving others, have the ability to be compassionate and have empathy, are able to maintain confidentially and are able to serve a diverse congregation of all ages.
Altar Guild Ministry
The Altar Guild Ministry orders flowers for the pulpit, sends cards and flowers to members who are sick, shut in and not able to attend service. The altar guild also extends condolences and sends cards to members during bereavement.
