Do good and leave behind you a monument of virtue that the storm of life can never destroy. Write your name in kindness, love and mercy on the hearts of thousands you come in contact with year after year; you will never be forgotten. No, your name, your deeds will be as legible on the hearts you leave behind as the stars on the bow of the evening. Good deeds will shine as the stars of heaven. -Chalmers
1st Peter 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, wherein ye are spoken against, they may be put to shame who revile your good manner of life in Christ.
As a believer, when you die, what will people say about you?(Not that it will matter to you at that time) But will your life leave a lasting impression upon others? Will others say they were made ‘the better’ because of you? Will your death prompt others to reevaluate negative behavior and live differently because you have died? because you kept trying to get them to stop living, acting, being that way? Only time will tell, but you can answer most of those now by answering this question, Am I impactful in the lives of others?
